19 Jun 18/6/20 – XBRL Europe’s 4 day online conference ends
More than 400 registrants took part in the first ever virtual XBRL Europe conference. The event took place over the 4 days ending Thursday 18th June and was primarily focused on the new ESEF mandate.
The first day of the conference included presentations from Anna Sciortino of ESMA with updates on the ESEF taxonomy as well as Jon Rowden of PWC giving an update on the likely role which auditors will have on ESEF tagging. On the final afternoon of the conference there were numerous ESEF user case sessions with Alui giving a presentation entitled ‘Key questions companies should be asking their proposed ESEF Vendor’.
